The Solution
First you should understand the world as seen through the dog’s eyes not your eyes.
Softly and gently remove those things that tell the dog it is a very a high ranking animal.
Once the dog agrees that you are important enough to listen to and obey, teach the words that you want him to obey.
How We Can Help
A home visit (at a time to suit ) will allow me to see the dog in it's own environment.
Most dogs give me lots of clues regarding the current situation as soon as I enter the house.
Then with the help of the owner we can consider the cause(s) of the problem and discuss the best way to correct it.
The dog will normally also be sitting, standing and laying down on command plus answering that magic word ‘come’ before the visit is over. This is to show the owner(s) how to keep this training going to improve the dog’s response to commands.
A full written report will follow a visit to ensure that the owners don’t forget the plan.
Telephone support is always available and a follow-
The system works and it's great fun for the owner and the dog!

Does Age Matter?
This method of training works with dogs of all ages. Even those that have been convinced for some time that they were in charge.
However there is no doubt that the earlier it is started, the easier it is for the owners to implement.
Most pets really don’t want to be in charge, so if you start this way when puppy first joins the family, the happier puppy will be.

The Second Visit
The second appointment is designed to cover those commands that are harder for the dog to learn and that are not included in the first visit.
• Walking nicely on the lead.
• Stay and Wait
• In your place and others
plus anything you want your dog to learn.
